Policy

1. Pricing and contract.
- Prices and itineraries can be changed without prior notice.
- Prices given in propositions and invoices, distributed by e-mail of fax from our staff, are the officially valid rates and remain unchanged.

2. Reservation and confirmation.
- You can send your reservation to one of Halong Emotion’s legal offices, mentioned in this website.
- A deposit of 30% of the full amount is required to confirm your reservation. Final payment must be made at least one month before departure of the tour. Otherwise, Halong Emotion has the right to cancel reservations, without returning the clients’ deposit.
- In case a reservation is made within the month of departure, the total sum must be paid at once.
- After booking the client receives an invoice by e-mail or fax.

3. Payment methods.
- Cash (only possible after agreement with both parties).
- Traveller cheques (only possible after agreement with both parties).
- Bank transfer (additional banking fees to be paid by the client).
- Credit Card (only possible at our offices).

4. Cancellation
4.1 / Cancellation by the Customer 
In case of cancellation by the Client / Travel Agency, for whatever reason, the client agrees to pay cancellation fees:
  • More than 30 days before departure
  • 10 to 30 days before departure
  • 7 to 10 days before departure
  • No Show
  • 10% of the price of the cruise
  • 50% of the price of the cruise
  • 70% of the price of the cruise
  • 100% of the price of the cruise
4.2 / Cancellation by Halong Emotion
Halong Emotion will cancel the agreement with the client in case of natural disasters, epidemics, political disturbances and other dramatic developments of this kind. In this case the client will receive the total sum of payment back, without having the right to any indemnity.

Children Policy
Free of charge for children less than 5 years old (sharing same cabin with parents without extra bed). No more than 01 child per cabin.
Children from 5 to under 11 years old (sharing same cabin with parents without extra bed) are payable as mentioned in the tariff table below. No more than 01 child per cabin.
Children having separate cabins/bed pay the same price as adults

Supplement  services and surcharge
  • Tour guide 60USD (shared room) for 2days 1 night trip, 95$ for 3days 2nights trip.
  • Compulsory Gala dinner:  for check-in on: Christmas Days: Dec 24th, New Year’s Dec 31Th, Lunar New Year 30th, Surcharge 25USD/adult, 18USD/child 5-11 years old
  • Diving 100 USD/ pax (for group 1 person, 80USD/pax for group 2-8 pers, 70USD/pax for group more than 8pers, / 35-45 minutes (in anchor area 16:00-18:00).
  • Tender for lately checkin or early check out: 60USD (less than 8pers/boat)
  • Speed boat for lately check in or early check out: 150USD(less than 8 pers/boat)
  • Tender boat to Cat Ba (Gia Luan Habour): 100 USD/way
  • Speed boat to Gia Luan: 150USD/way
  • Kayak : 10USD/pax/time/Double kayak
  • Foot massage: 20 USD/ 30 minutes (15:00-22:00).
  • Body massage:  45 USD/ h (15:00-22:00).
  • Shuttle bus: 25 USD/ pax/2 ways, children: 12USD
                             20 USD/ pax/2 ways, children: 10USD (Low season)
5. Responsibilities
Halong Emotion provides travel services to its clients as mentioned in the quote/contract given by Halong Emotion. In case anything happens outside the program or contract it cannot be granted under the responsibility of Halong Emotion. During the cruise clients must follow the guidelines announced by our crew.

6. Insurance 
Local insurance is included in the ticket sold by Halong Bay’s Management Board. If problems occur, Halong Emotion strives to solve these problems within their capability and responsibility. However, Halong Emotion is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of personal belongings, death loss, accidents, illness … during the cruise.

7. Litigation
In case of difficulties, both parties must make an effort in seeking an agreeable solution to their dispute. In case of disagreements and/or complaints the ‘Vietnam International Arbitration Centre’ under the ‘Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be solely responsible. All complaints must be submitted in form of writing, within 30 days after the provided services from Halong Emotion.
